Several years ago when I decided to make my day planner available to others, I sat down with an accountant who worked with lots of Direct Sales business owners. The one thing that her clients didn’t do well enough was track their mileage, and as it turns out, this is one of the biggest write offs for many of us!
This year, instead of your having to track mileage on a separate page, there is a prompt every day with a total for the week. There is also prompt on your month-at-a-glance page with a total for the month. The page where we’ve had it in the past is now used for planning and anything else you want it for, including listing your month’s Mileage and Business Expenses.
If you realize at the end of the week that you forgot to write something down, you can use a map app or website to tell you what the distance is. You don’t have to write down odometer readings.
